By the end of 2016 Serena will have completed her Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from RMIT University, with a major in Literature.

While she enjoys all forms of storytelling, Serena has always loved the written word.

Serena is interested in all forms of journalism, but is particularly passionate to pursue a career in writing.  She can see her future reporting on crime, arts and lifestyle stories, writing features and long-form journalism, or working behind the scenes in radio.

During this final year of study, Serena has undertaken internships at Mamamia and Herald Sun, and has completed work experience at 3AW.

​

Away from journalism and writing Serena has a keen interest in art, drawing, nature, poetry and everyday pieces of magic.
