KOALA handler Tasmyn Menzies is cuddling up to orphaned baby koalas Lily, Roger, Harvey and Gracie at Ballarat Wildlife Park.
Ms Menzies is one of several new staff who recently moved to the park from Cairns in Queensland.
Park owner Julia Leonard said the new keepers were adjusting well to Ballarat’s weather.

“They seem to be coping all right with the cold weather — Tasmyn’s being kept warm by cuddling the koalas,” Ms Leonard said.
The interactive park is home to more than 20 koalas and has one of the largest collections of koalas in captivity, with more joeys due to be born in spring.
Ms Leonard said the koalas were a favourite among visitors to the park, saying they bring a “big smile to everyone’s face”.
